Irina is an expert and authority on Boolean, semantic, and deep web search; LinkedIn and all other social networks; and advanced sourcing productivity tools.

Irina is responsible for the sourcing function for our recruiting needs as well as providing sourcing for several corporate teams on a contract basis.

Irina has created successful recruiting communities: the Boolean Strings LinkedIn group and the Boolean Strings Ning network, with a total population of 55K+ members from 75+ countries around the globe. She maintains an active blog “Boolean Strings” where she publishes sourcing advice. In March of 2012 Irina founded the Sourcing Certification Program that is supported by a team of talented sourcers and is quickly taking over the world!

Before Brain Gain Recruiting, Irina held engineering and management leadership positions at biotech and high technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. Irina holds a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from Moscow University.

When he’s not teaching sourcing and recruitment best practices, he is putting them into practice as a recruiter and sourcer for Brain Gain Recruiting. His background is entirely in an agency (third party) search, providing him an extremely broad background regarding positions filled and industries served.
