Irina Shamaeva is Partner and the Chief Sourcer at Brain Gain Recruiting. She is an expert and an authority in Boolean, semantic, and deep web search; LinkedIn and all other social networks; and advanced sourcing productivity tools.
Irina is responsible for the sourcing function for our recruiting needs as well as providing sourcing for several corporate teams on a contract basis.
Irina has created successful recruiting communities: the Boolean Strings LinkedIn group and the Boolean Strings Ning network, with a total population of 30K+ members from 75+ countries around the globe. She maintains an active blog “Boolean Strings” where she publishes sourcing advice. In March of 2012 Irina founded the People Sourcing Certification Program that is supported by a team of talented sourcers and is quickly taking over the world!
Before Brain Gain Recruiting, Irina held engineering and management leadership positions at biotech and high technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. Irina holds a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from Moscow University.
Julia is an experienced leader in technical recruiting and sourcing. For the last nine years, she has been a Partner with Brain Gain Recruiting, placing senior full-time employees in Software Development, IT, ERP, Strategy Consulting, Finance, and Digital Marketing.
Julia has an unmatched capability to match candidates against jobs. If Julia pre-screens and submits a candidate, employers agree with her choices in 98% of the cases! Before Brain Gain Recruiting, Julia held engineering and management leadership positions at biotech and high technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. Julia has an MS in Applied Linguistics and a strong background in software engineering and management.
Martin is in charge of Brain Gain Recruiting services in EMEA & APAC.
Martin has almost 20 years experience in recruitment, starting in an IT contract agency. He worked as a hands on recruiter sourcing for hard to find skills for almost 12 years. He then headed the delivery of two recruitment research companies where the remit was always “find everybody”.
Before joining Brain Gain he was VP, Head of Sourcing & Research EMEA & APAC at Kelly Services where he oversaw all sourcing and candidate engagement strategies. He understands the differences in recruiting across different countries and remains a hands on sourcer whilst consulting with Brain Gains customers on best practices.
David serves as Director of our training programs under the People Sourcing Certification Program (sourcingcertification.com) brand.
When he’s not teaching sourcing and recruitment best practices, he is putting them into practice as a recruiter and sourcer for Brain Gain Recruiting. His background is entirely in an agency (third party) search, providing him an extremely broad background regarding positions filled and industries served.
